Give a little boost
Each of my four children started off by sitting in a high chair during meals and have finally made their way to the “big” table. What I can’t figure out, as far as my youngest is concerned, what did I do between the high chair and the big table.
When she was in her high chair the two middle children sat at their little kid’s table and she couldn’t wait to sit there with them. By the time she was big enough, my son (my second child) was getting too big for the table and after many meals of them arguing about who would sit near whom, knocking stuff off of the table and bumping elbows; I moved them all to the big table.
My youngest daughter is quite petite so she has to sit on phone books in order to reach her food on the table. Unfortunately, she’s also a messy eater so the phone books are getting pretty yucky even though I tear the pages off as they get dirty.
I need to get her a booster seat, which would be easier to clean and way more comfortable for her. So of course I tried to find a good deal on one. There was one at Walmart that I think would work perfectly.
I can’t wait to get it because I’m sure it’ll minimize her need to get in and out of her seat on a whim.

I have one of these for Clara and it is the BEST thing ever! Seriously. And I love that it’s perfect for travel too.
