Movie night
Almost every time a friend of mine says he’s seen a good movie and asks me if I’ve seen it, I say no. Now it is getting to the point that he doesn’t even ask and just assumes that I probably haven’t seen the movie(s) he is talking about.
Where have I been? Well, going to the movies, renting movies or even purchasing DVDs isn’t in my budget. There’s that “B” word again. Having a tight budget got me to thinking that I could search for deals on movies just like I do everything else. (Earlier today, my daughter’s godfather and I were searching for a deal on something she needs for college.)
There are some NBC Universal Store coupons that I can take advantage of. Their selection is great and I saw DVDs that start as low as $5.98. If I’m not mistaken that’s just as good as the price of movies at one of my favorite superstores.
I can also take advantage of the deals at the DVD Planet, but before I do that I’m going to need to purchase a new television since mine completely died a month or so ago. I’m not going to let that stop me though; if I see a great deal on some movies I want to watch then I can purchase them to watch over a friend’s house. Sounds like a plan to me.
