Books, bargains, birthday
Finding a good book for the weekend is the mission of the day. The book has to be engaging, entertaining and have the ability to make me forget my woes. Oh, and be cheap inexpensive. Tall order to fill, huh?
The first part, maybe (gonna take a real good book to make me forget that my birthday weekend plans are falling through), but the inexpensive part: Piece of cake. SNIFFLE. Birthday cake.
Sorry, I digress…
There are a few Borders coupons that I can take advantage of. Whether I’m buying two and getting the third free, shipping for free to the store for pick up or taking advantage of another savings I’ll definitely be able to find something interesting.
As an avid reader there are quite a few books on my “to be read” list and I’m always coming across more. That’s not even mentioning the books I already have on my shelves that I haven’t gotten around to reading or the books on my desk waiting to be reviewed. Can you tell I love books? And books for a bargain make it even better.
If I get tired of reading I think I’ll check out what’s up with the National Geographic coupons and click through to the site – there’s great reading in that too. Checking out the site not too long ago I found it to be interesting and engaging just like reading a good book. And if you see something you just can’t resist, you can get free shipping on orders $75 or more. That’s tempting for a educational treat for yourself and perfect for a gift for someone else.
As you take part in your weekend shopping, think about me and pick me up a birthday gift. I’ll just be sitting here reading a book. And waiting.
