Need office equipment?
Living without a printer is becoming a bit of a pain. I’ve been trying not to complain because I don’t want to awaken the technology-destruction demons, but I must express it’s a little difficult running a home-based business without the necessary office equipment.
About two years ago I had a copier/printer/fax and it really came in handy. I was pregnant at the time and with three other children around including two toddlers, it was convenient. Then it was repossessed. Actually, the person it belonged to needed it back. I didn’t think of it as that big of a deal at the time; just another inconvenience. Then, earlier this year, when two of my regular printers died I became a little miffed.
The one remaining printer that seems to work is an HP and the cartridges are a bit expensive – about $30. The printer before that was a Canon and its cartridges are really economical. Now, not only am I shopping for great deals on HP cartridges, but I’m considering saving up some dough to get another all-in-one printer. (I have a stack of papers here right now that need to be faxed.)
