Tasty gifts
If you’re thinking about giving food as a holiday gift then you should go with the same premise as when you’re going to the grocery store: Don’t shop when hungry. I’ve been considering giving my parents a fruit basket, or something similar, but I can’t seem to decide because all I can think about is what I want to eat; not what they like.
Have you figured out I am starving?
There are some Fruit Company Coupons so I thought it would be a good idea to check out their offerings. The fruit and gourmet gift baskets look so tasty that I almost ordered one for myself. Yea, maybe I should go eat lunch before I get back to shopping.
There are a few things that I like about The Fruit Company baskets:
- The wares are in baskets that are definitely reusable as decoration, re-gifting or display.
- The fruit looks like it was freshly picked from a tree.
- Free shipping. Need I say more about that? (Don’t wait too long to take advantage of this ’cause it’s available for a limited time.)
I peeped at a couple of baskets that I like the most – The Columbia Harvest (pictured above) and Sweet Celebration – and I am really impressed. The first basket has Asian pears, Fuji apples, navel oranges and much more and it weighs 5 pounds! The Sweet Celebration, which I like because of its name
, has toffee popcorn, chocolate-covered apricots, apples, oranges, pears, pineapple and a bottle of natural sparkling pear cider. WHISPER: If you want to buy that one for me just email me and I’ll send you my address.
Don’t those sound yummy? Giving fruit baskets as gifts is a practical and tasty idea. … Now, I’m going to eat lunch.
