Mow your lawn, save money, go green all at once

lawn mowerSometimes when I pull into the driveway at my house, I am very unhappy with what I see. There are leaves and limbs everywhere along with trash that has blown into my yard and become trapped against the fence. And that’s just the beginning. I don’t really have a green thumb and I know that I need to be frugal with everything that I do, but I was thinking it would be a good time to purchase a lawn mower.

Years ago, when I first bought this home, I borrowed friends’ lawn mowers to cut the grass. I bought a few tools – rake, saw, hedge trimmers – and was able to maintain the outside of the house. Now let’s face forward to the present. Most recently, I’ve been using a lawn service that is giving me an excellent deal, but it isn’t the most frugal choice.

If I purchased a lawn mower I could maintain the lawn with minimal cost and even get a great workout. There are some CompostBins.com coupons that are making me consider purchasing one online. Normally, I probably wouldn’t think of making a purchase like this online, but with the $15 off any $150 purchase and the $10 off any $75 purchase it’s a bit irresistible.

CompostBins.com carries reel lawn mowers, battery-powered and electrical ones. Not only would I be saving money and getting a workout, but I’d have added being green to the list. Now that’s what I call maximizing on the savings.

You can also find compost bins, rain barrels and other composing information at CompostBins.com. Take cutting grass to an entirely new level… I think I will.
