Exercise = Energy
I don’t know about you, but my energy level by the end of the day – when the kids are finally asleep and the night is quite enough for me to think – is so low it’s hard to concentrate and get anything accomplished. And, the more tired I am the longer it takes to do anything that requires even a little brain power.
How do you increase your energy level? Well, according to “the professionals” exercise and healthy eating is one of the main keys to increased energy. The problem is when you don’t have any energy then you don’t want to exercise to try to get energy. Catch 22, huh?
I have a suggestions (think I’ll take my own advice?): Make the exercise convenient. Walk around your block or at a local park, and once your endurance builds up then you can make it even more convenient by purchasing a piece of equipment for your home. Check out Better Health Innovations to find what is right for you.
My second suggestion would be don’t order a treadmill. LOL… I have heard of too many people using their treadmills as hangers and decoration. Choose something that will be challenging and fun as well as interesting and versatile. There are elliptical trainers and pilates gear, and it’s only a click away.
So, let’s make a pact. Ready? Raise your right hand: “I will get in shape to increase my energy.”
Now we can keep each other motivated. Don’t forget to come by and share how it’s going. Good luck!
