Coffee high
Like a lot of coffee lovers I’ve taken drinking coffee to an entirely new level. Instead of succumbing to emotional eating when I’m upset or anxious I have taken to having another cup of coffee. Today, however, I’ve done well and only had three cups… even though I said I would only have one. At least that’s better than the other day when I had about five or six cups. That’s my all-time record. Crazy, huh?
Tonight instead of having a cup of coffee at 8 o’clock at night ’cause I was unhappy about something, I decided to go to bed. Nothing like avoidance or being caffeinated to get one through the night. Even though I didn’t drink any coffee I had to look and see if there are any food and drink shops with sales on coffee (how’s that for addiction?). I noticed that Cafe Brit has some fabulous coupons including free shipment on certain orders especially when you purchase in bulk.
I don’t know if I’ll purchase any or not ’cause I definitely don’t need coffee in bulk. Buying in bulk would give me the excuse of drinking more than I need to. I already use excuses to drink a cup: Finished a chore, completed an assignment, made a phone call… the coffee rewards to-do list is never ending.
