Refuel on vacation
I just finished reading an entry on one of my friend’s blog and she asked her readers what they do to refuel. I actually couldn’t think of an answer. It’s probably because I’m running on E. My fuel tank is low and I can’t find a gas station to refuel. Normally I would decide to read a book or spend a day on the couch. I may paint my nails or give myself a pedicure. Take some extra time shaping my eyebrows or doing something else that’s as equally beautifying and relaxing.
That’s not going to work this time. I think a trip out of the state – make that the country – is in order. And the Grand Pineapple, which is an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean, seems like an affordable option. The Grand Pineapple is a beach resort in Jamaica and Antigua. I’ve been to Jamaica several times so I’ve been peeking at the Antigua pictures and they are absolutely gorgeous.
Right now they’re having deals where travelers can get up to 60 percent off on and the deal is good until December 2011. Can you imagine lounging next to crystal-clear water for as long as you like while you watch the sun set (or rise)? I know I can.
I think the sun, surf and fresh air of a Caribbean vacation is the perfect way to start off a summer and to refuel. Maybe it’ll give me the energy I need in order to get everything accomplished. If not, at least it will make me happy. What things do you do to refuel?
