Children’s bedding
I’m a bad mother. No, really, hear me out: My children sleep on the floor.
There. I said it.
My three youngest children share a room. Still. They are 6, 5 and 3. They used to have two toddler beds and a crib. The crib converted to a toddler bed so they had three toddler beds. That was until the decided to break one. So, now they’re back to two toddler beds. Since they’re petite children, they often slept in one bed. Yup, three children in one toddler bed. Now that the two middle ones (well, the two oldest in this case) have grown a little they were sleeping two to a bed.
Then, suddenly, they wanted to sleep on the floor.
Every night.
The 6 and 5 year old children are almost the same length as the toddler bed mattress. What’s a mom to do?
Seems simple, right? Buy new beds.
That’s easier said than done. I won’t even get into the whole “money” issue. Let’s just find a reasonable solution. Shall we?
The main problem right now is space in the room they’re in. There is no way that three twin-sized beds will fit in that room. So it will have to be for my son (I have three girls and one boy) and the two younger girls will move into their sister’s room. Should work while she’s away at college, right? I hope so.
While I was searching for beds, I found the cutest bedding for children at the Bed Bath Store. I found wild animals for my son, flowers for my middle daughter and ladybugs for the youngest.
Now, if I could only find the right beds…
