Shelve the issue
I don’t care how many times I try to organize something in my home, if I don’t have the appropriate organizational elements it’s not going to work out as nice as I would like. Now that my man (boyfriend? LOL) is living with us we have really outgrown this three bedroom, one bath home. Even though I’m still cleaning, moving and straightening we need some containers, closet organizers, shelves and chest of drawers to make things a little more feasible and pleasing to the eye.
The first thing I would like to get are several types of shelves that can be mounted on the wall. In the bedroom there is wall space above a low table that would be great for some shelves that are wide enough for decorative baskets or boxes to hold a few of my creative gear (beads for jewelry making) and store candles or display pictures. Walmart, which always has great rollbacks, has a few that may work and Bookcases Galore is having a super sale where you can save up to 65 percent.
Bookcases Galore has some fabulous choices on bookcases that I can use in the office (to store more books and organize craft supplies), the living room (definitely need ones with doors here to camouflage all of the toys) and the children’s rooms (books, papers and such are all over the house). I can even use some extra shelving in the kitchen because I have a lot of my grandmother’s items that I would like to have a special place to display them.
With a little creativity, a small space can be utilized to its maximum potential without being cluttered.
