Load up on labels
This is the first year I’ve been so unprepared when my children started school this week. One day right before we were rushing out of the door, I had grabbed a permanent marker and was scribbling my middle daughter’s name on her jacket. When my oldest, who’s 19 now, was that age I didn’t have to worry about labeling and such. It was easy just to sit everything out and label it at once. Even if it was last minute it wasn’t hurried. That was then.
Now I have a total of four children with three of them going to school and needing their items labeled and identified. Not only so they can be returned if they get lost, but so they don’t get mixed up with other children’s things. This is the first year I’ve seriously thought about purchasing labels.
