Load up on labels

This is the first year I’ve been so unprepared when my children started school this week. One day right before we were rushing out of the door, I had grabbed a permanent marker and was scribbling my middle daughter’s name on her jacket. When my oldest, who’s 19 now, was that age I didn’t have to worry about labeling and such. It was easy just to sit everything out and label it at once. Even if it was last minute it wasn’t hurried. That was then.

Now I have a total of four children with three of them going to school and needing their items labeled and identified. Not only so they can be returned if they get lost, but so they don’t get mixed up with other children’s things. This is the first year I’ve seriously thought about purchasing labels. That’s where Label Daddy comes in.

Label Daddy labels are microwave safe, dishwasher safe and, washer and dryer safe. I’m assuming that means they’re also kid safe. (Because you know how children can tear something up really quickly.) I checked out their site and they have a handy school pack, which has seven different sizes of labels. That’s a total of 132 labels (including  one bag tag, 45 extra small, 30 small, 20 medium, 10 large, 18 mini shoe labels and eight shoe) plus four zipper tags – all for just $40. I think that’s quite enough for my three youngest.

So, if you’re stuck about what to do with labeling your children’s belongings for school. Check out Label Daddy and make identifying things as easy as peel and stick.
